Precast Element Moulds

Column, beam, purlin, double-tee and panel moulds for precast plants; fully equipped production line solutions.

In precast production a mould is not simply a vessel that holds concrete — it is the production line itself. Mould tolerance determines whether the element can be erected; surface quality determines how the finished structure looks. Acer manufactures moulds and equipment for precast plant production lines.

Mould types we manufacture

  • Precast column moulds (fixed and adjustable section)
  • Beam moulds — rectangular, I-section, variable depth
  • Double-tee (TT) slab moulds
  • Purlin and truss moulds
  • Wall and façade panel moulds
  • Channel, culvert and infrastructure element moulds
  • Textured (matrix-lined) architectural panel moulds

Tolerance and surface quality

Precast elements must fit each other on site. A millimetre of deviation in the mould compounds during erection. We therefore stress-relieve mould frames after welding, subject them to dimensional inspection, and use machined connection components at critical faces.

Surface quality depends on plate selection and joint detailing. Watertight mould joints prevent both surface flashing and loss of cement paste.

Production line equipment

  • Surface vibrator mounting points integrated into the frame
  • Hydraulic or mechanical opening and closing mechanisms
  • Insulation and channel details for steam curing
  • Adjustable end stops enabling different element lengths
  • Positioning jigs for lifting anchors and cast-in items

Technical notes

Every mould is produced to the customer's element drawings.

SSS

Yes. We work from the dimensions of your existing line, its crane capacity and curing system. After on-site measurement we prepare shop drawings and begin production once you approve them.

Yes, through adjustable end stops and intermediate bulkhead details. If you state the length range up front, we design the mould for that flexibility.

With correct use and regular maintenance, steel precast moulds serve for a very large number of pours. The determining factors are release agent use, cleaning discipline and protection from mechanical impact.
